Newly Appointed Principals (Primary and Post-Primary)
The Centre for School Leadership provides a formal mentoring support for all newly appointed primary and post-primary principals.
There are currently 500 trained mentors in the system. These are all experienced principals who have completed a five day programme in mentoring and attend on-going CSL Professional Learning Days.
This year so far, we have matched 192 newly appointed principals with a mentor.
The CSL mentoring support is provided through the Misneach One Programme (See details below) or through CSL Mentoring Information Sessions provided regionally for those who miss their first Misneach event in August.
The next two Information Sessions are as follows:
· Athlone Education Centre-Wednesday November 14th from 4pm to 6-30pm
· December 2018 from 4pm to 6-30pm - Date and Venue to be Announced
To apply for one of these sessions, please register for the Misneach Programme.
