Experience in one to one coaching

Aideen is an accredited Executive and Leadership Coach with experience of building and leading teams in complex organisations such as the NTMA, NAMA and Coca-Cola. Formerly a lawyer and senior executive, her leadership objective was always to develop high levels of trust, accountability, collaboration and confidence in her teams using a coaching and mentoring approach.

Of particular interest to principals and school leadership teams is her experience in

       developing new teams

establishing better reporting structures and ways of working

       managing multiple stakeholders

implementing and embedding new legislation and codes of practice into the policies and procedures of an organisation

developing distributed leadership capability at all levels of organisations.

Aideen works with senior leaders and their teams to build leadership capacity, collaboration and accountability in their management teams.  Aideen, through coaching, works with leaders on both the challenges of their operational responsibilities and on longer-term strategic issues and managing change. She provides a safe, creative and supportive space away from day-to-day pressures so clients can reflect and think and move forward, so critical and yet often a luxury in a school environment.

Aideen’s goal is to support clients to find their own style of effective leadership, a way of being that supports them in dealing with the many challenges of leadership and in understanding how to get the best from the team and for the team in a complex and ever-changing work environment.
