Susan has a very good understanding of the education sector, having worked with teachers on the Junior Achievement Programme as well as having close family members who are teachers. Susan has 22 years’ experience working in the field of HR, with the last 10 years primarily focused on coaching and development. She has worked in many different industries including US multi-nationals and Irish owned companies. Susan has extensive experience in senior management, leadership and change management, while leading teams in global organisations. She has a keen understanding of the challenges Managers face in a rapidly changing, organisation.

For 10 years Susan was the Manager for a Junior Achievement Programme within EMC/Dell. She worked with teachers to build up the programme with volunteers from the business. She was instrumental in building a new programme ‘make maths matter’ between local schools in disadvantaged areas and Junior Achievement.

Susan has also provided one to one coaching to Managers across a wide range of backgrounds and sectors.

With over 17 years’ coaching experience, Susan has a proven track record in executive coaching, performance management and leadership development. She has coached all levels of management and is acutely aware of the impact a leader can have on organisational outcomes and the teams they lead.  Susan has also coached people from a range of sectors including education, sales, IT, engineering, financial and shared services. By using tools and her own expertise she has coached leaders dealing with a number of serious issues including staff development, performance management, strategic planning, significant change programmes and the development of high performance teams.

Susan believes passionately that coaching is the key for individuals to reach their full potential.  Susan naturally builds a rapport with her client that allows a trusting but challenging relationship be established. She supports her clients in clarifying their thinking, identifying opportunities where they previously believed that none existed and progressing onto enabling them to design a plan that delivers success for the both the individual and the organisation.


Susan has coached me over the last five years and she has the ability to ask me a question or a series of questions that I had not thought of before, which helped me see situations from different perspectives. Susan quickly built a rapport with me, making me feel comfortable to be open and really delve into my challenges and opportunities.
