Experience in one to one coaching

I am delighted to be a professional executive coach with vast and rich understanding of the role of Teachers, Principals and School Leadership Teams. Undertaking this role was inspired by my deeply transformational experience as a CSL Coaching participant. I passionately help people to unlock their full potential, specifically supporting those in leadership roles, so that they in turn can support others in reaching their own potential. Having “walked the walk” of the professional educator for 36 years (23 years as a Primary School Principal), I immediately bring, my understanding of that complex role and the wisdom I have acquired, to my coaching of school leaders. Having recently designed and delivered an online WellBeing programme to school staff, I also appreciate the current needs of educators. Current experience includes executive coaching of senior leaders from the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Education sectors, addressing career progression, roles/relationships, and conflict resolution.

I fully empathise and relate to the many challenges Principals, Deputy Principals and Leadership Teams face. As a Coach, I support and guide them in identifying circumstances that may need to be addressed in their professional/personal life including the formation of an action plan to manage immediate situations. I also nourish and empower school leaders, both in their leadership role, and their own self care, to ensure their long-term sustainability and effectiveness as leaders. All of this is done in a safe, confidential setting allowing the client to grow in competence and confidence as a leader.

As a compassionate facilitator, I model being present, authentic and heart-centred. This builds capacity and skill to meet whatever arises with openness and effectiveness. When adults embody safety and care, they are better resourced to create and maintain the learning environment in which all children flourish.
