Experience in one to one coaching
My coaching experience began by spending several years in London working for an international management consultancy, specialised in the field of human motivation. During this time, I worked closely with the principle behavioural scientist and delivered coaching & leadership development programmes for senior executives & management teams. After qualifying as an Executive Coach I returned to Ireland, and whilst I still consult in this area, I spend more & more of my time working with clients on a 1-1 coaching basis.
I have coached individuals from various industries (including Real Estate, Fund Management, Energy & Petrochemicals, Executive Search, Recruitment, Communication & PR), in numerous locations (e.g. UK, Holland, France, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore) and across several different business functions.
I am committed to learning & development, where I utilise coaching techniques to help individuals reflect, raise self-awareness and develop action plans. I focus on outcomes that enable individuals to move beyond their perceived limits, improving their interpersonal relationships and organisational performance. A business owner stated “My sessions with Louise have been extremely productive and I have found Louise’s relaxed yet professional manner easy to connect with, plus it gets results with each session having outtakes and actions”.
I place great importance on building rapport in coaching relationships, allowing individuals to feel able to discuss and gain clarity around their beliefs, values, strengths and opportunities. I take a pragmatic, challenging and supportive approach, adapting my style to help coachees play to their unique strengths in achieving their goals. I find immense value in building self-awareness and aiding in the development of independent, adaptable & resilient individuals.
