The Principals he has coached are from a diverse range of school types and sizes, giving him a keen appreciation of the working environment of today’s busy Principal. Brian brings to the educational sector insights from coaching senior leaders and his own previous experience working at senior leadership level.

Brian has coached School Principals to deal with point in time challenges, staff challenges, delegation, work/life balance, time management, school vision/mission development, leadership style development and career planning.

He knows that a Principal's role can be in a ‘lonely place’ and that the support of an experienced coach can be invaluable to personal and professional development.

Brian is a pragmatic Coach who understands what is involved in leading teams and brings expertise, passion and integrity to his work. His coaching style is supportive, direct and results focused.

He has extensive experience working with leaders across a wide range of sectors and has coached them to leverage their strengths and achieve their goals in ways that support the strategy, objectives and overall success of their organisations.

Testimonials

Testimonial - School Principal

‘’Coaching with Brian helped me focus on solutions to issues I brought to the table and gave me the confidence to get the job done effectively. I discovered how to leverage my strengths such as my communication skills and my ability to vision for the future of my school. Through the coaching process, I decided I needed to do some things differently: to act more quickly; to maintain a consistent strategic focus; and to delegate more.’’

Testimonial - School Principal

Brian's coaching helped me to understand my leadership style and areas in need of improvement, in more depth than I previously had. I have gained insights and strategies, which have helped me to improve areas of my practice significantly.

Testimonial- Executive in Semi-State Body.

“Brian has a real understanding of the multitude of challenges that confront leaders and asks purposeful questions that put the spotlight on the critical issues. He challenged and encouraged me to push beyond self-imposed barriers and take my leadership capacities to the next level. Brian immediately engenders trust and I felt very comfortable sharing issues that I would previously not have been open to discussing. Brian was an unbiased and objective resource and I would highly recommend him to others.”
