Rachel is an experienced Executive Coach and Assessment Specialist. Rachel’s vision is to enhance our human potential to respond rather than react, to constantly grow and improve and to learn powerful skills which can be applied in both work and life. At a senior level the focus is an evidence-based approach to coaching proving individuals have the capacity to adapt to daily pressures and thrive in situations, which can be difficult or seemingly impossible. Rachel’s style is respectful, inquiring and challenging - recognising that for many the coaching experience provides a unique space to step back and think, to talk out what’s in their head in order to find the best way forward.
Executive Workplace Resilience Coaching is a particular passion and interest for Rachel. Resilience is defined as “the ability to remain flexible in our thoughts, feelings and behaviours when faced by a life disruption or extended periods of pressure, so that we emerge from difficulty stronger, wiser and more able” (Dr Carole Pemberton). Rachel integrates Executive Coaching techniques, Cognitive Based Therapy (CBT) and diagnostics (ability, personality, motivation) to help individuals recognise and understand their own strengths and vulnerabilities. Clients that work with Rachel find this very helpful in understanding how best to use their strengths and shift personal stumbling blocks to enhance their own resilience, effectively influence, negotiate, lead, motivate teams, delegate, implement change, make decisions and progress careers in their unique environment.
